Andre Bikey Shoves a Paramedic
In most matches, paramedics pass a fairly uneventful evening. But when Senegal played Cameroon in the 2008 AFCON, one unfortunate health worker was shoved for merely doing his job. The perpetrator, Cameroonian midfielder Andre Bikey was sent off for his impudence, and the paramedic commented on the incident after the match. “It was very forceful, and I landed badly. It didn’t hurt at the time but the next day my head ached and the area around my waist did, too…He hasn’t apologised and I will be happy when he does, because no player should do that.”
