Seven-time AFCON champions, Egypt, gave themselves a lifeline when they defeated Botswana in Gaborone to register their first points after starting the campaign with back-to-back losses. The Pharaohs will be aiming for a similar result in Cairo to stay within reach of the top two clubs.

Senegal and Tunisia both dropped points for the first time this past weekend when they played to a 0-0 draw in Dakar. A similar result would leave the two sides in the top half but their second meeting in Monastir is likely to produce goals.
