Log leaders Cape Verde will be seeking revenge when they host Mozambique in Praia after the Mambas defeated them 2-0 in Matola, ending their two-match winning start. The Blue Sharks defeated Zambia in their previous home game and will want to make sure all three points remain at home.

Zambia and Niger will meet in Ndola with both teams needing maximum points in order to make up some ground in the group. Both sides are yet to win a game and Chipolopolo have not shown any of the form which led to them being crowned AFCON champions in 2012.
