Twitter isn’t quite as popular in Senegal as in other African countries, but it’s starting to take off. The most-followed Twitter account in Senegal has less than 54,000 followers, according to Socialbakers.com, a website that tracks Twitter statistics across the globe. By comparison, the most popular handle in South Africa (belonging to cricketer Kevin Pietersen) — he’s followed by more than 1.8 million people. In Nigeria, rapper Wizkid has nearly 1.2 million followers. Here are Socialbakers‘ 10 most popular Twitter profiles in Senegal.

10. Orange Senegal

The Senegalese branch of mobile, Internet and TV giant Orange comes in at No. 10 — the only brand to make the list in Senegal — with 4,028 fans. Original tweets are in French, but retweets like this show up in English:
