A thorny crime

A woman in Georgia called 911 to report that her deceased husband’s 1973 Chevrolet was missing. She called back later that day to say she’d found the car — it was just covered up with the shrubbery in her yard.

A man called 911 on himself

A home invader in Ohio accidentally butt-dialed 911 in the middle of robbing a house. He must have known, being a thief, how prevalent crime was and kept 911 on speed dial! The man hid in the closet when the police arrived, but his phone gave him up when the low-battery alarm went off.

Probably in the wrong line of work…

A burglar in Benesti, Romania called the police because he heard a scary noise in the house… the house he was in the middle of robbing, that is. Of course, when the police arrived they arrested the man. The noises he heard were probably just the house cat. Burglary might be the wrong line of work for someone easily scared.
