Eunice Omole on Starting Nigerian TV Firm O&M Media [Part 1 of 3]

Eunice Omole, a freelance business consultant and former contender on Apprentice Africa, shares her insight on starting a business from the ground up in Nigeria. Elaborating on the rise and fall of her firm and the “Top 100 Entrepreneurs in Africa” TV program, Omole also discusses pitching and sponsoring, business culture in Africa and returning to the U.S. to restructure a plan for relaunch.

“After I came in second place, I decided to stay in Nigeria and start up my own media company, because I felt like I wanted to help share the stories of entrepreneurs across Africa. All too often we see these amazing entrepreneurs — we see the Dangotes and the Motsepes, but you don’t really know how they got there,” Omole said.

“I was really intrigued about…figuring out how to create these lessons so that other people can do something similar the right way, the first time around.”
