The social media streets have questions for Meek Mill after the “Expensive Pain” MC went public complaining he isn’t getting paid by his record label. Inquiring minds wanted to know how Meek could afford to help Jay-Z buy billionaire NFL owner Robert Kraft a Bentley if he’s having problems getting paid properly. They weren’t shy with their thoughts

The Philadelphia-born rapper has an estimated net worth of $20 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.

On Monday, Oct. 25, Meek Mill tweeted, “ask the record label? how much have you spent on me as a artist? then you ask how much have you made off me as a artist? i’m about to make my record deal public by monday just to let the world see what these people on!!!”

He followed it up with a tweet that said, “ima war for everything that’s mines all ruthless vibes!”

It didn’t take long for users on social media to drag Meek for splurging, but seemingly not having his business affairs in order.

“Meek Mill was out here buying expensive gifts for billionaire’s and didn’t have his business in tact, Twitter user @Cheamane tweeted.

“If anything you’re supposed to learn how to get to the paper hanging around people with this kind of bread, not crying on Twitter about getting fleeced for over a decade allegedly,” @Cheamane continued in a. follow-up tweet.

The response from @Cheamane dates back to June when Meek Mill and Jay-Z came under fire on social media for helping buy a Bentley for Kraft – who owns the New England Patriots – for his 80th birthday.

“Meek didn’t had the money to put in on the gift he just wrote his name on the card,” @Realone wrote.

Other Twitter users pointed out that those who are criticizing Meek Mill are only speculating as they don’t really know his financial situation.

“The commentary here is funny because none of you know what he has in his bank account or what he spends his money on,” @EagleEyes50 tweeted.

“Right. They are just going off what Meek Mill tweeted himself about his own financial situation. How bizarre,” @incogneglo added.

Meek Mill is currently signed to Atlantic and Maybach Music Group (MMG), which is owned by fellow hip-hop artist Rick Ross. He has been with the label since 2011. Ross has yet to publicly address the comments.
