Africa’s humor business landscape is not only quite funny on stage but a very serious business. The recent crops of comedians are light years apart from the past crops of old comedians. Fresh talented young comedians are not only using comedy for social and political commentary but also financial gain.

Nigeria seems to be off the block in terms of appreciating its comedians who are some of the richest in sub-Saharan Africa going by the information gathered from the country’s news sites.
