Inter Milan Keen On Mohamed Salah’s Signature

It seems that Fiorentina have a fight on their hands to secure the signature of Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah from Chelsea, as Inter Milan show their interest in the talented youngster.

The attacker has been on loan at the Viola from English Premier League champions Chelsea since January, and made an immediate impact on the Italian side’s efforts in Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the Europa League.

In the Italian top flight alone, Salah scored six strikes in 16 appearances, while setting up three goals for team-mates. In another two cup games he contributed a further two goals.

The 22-year-old, who turns 23 on June 15 is now in the spotlight, as his loan deal came to an end with the conclusion of the season, but Fiorentina have made their intentions clear in terms of their aim to bring Salah back to Florence from London.

But now Italian rivals Inter Milan have joined the transfer saga, as they wish to bypass Fiorentina’s option to extend Salah’s loan agreement with a permanent deal at the Nerazzurri.

According to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, the Milan giants are confident of completing a successful deal for the Egypt international, robbing the Viola of a talented striker.

Fiorentina were knocked out of Coppa Italia and Europa League action in the semi-finals of both competitions, while ending the Serie A season in fourth spot.
