In Pictures: Nigeria’s Eko Atlantic Mega City Takes Shape Two Years On

In February 2013, Nigeria broke ground on one of largest property project on the continent, the Eko Atlantic mega city. Two years on the city is ready to house its second 26-story building, while other structures are on different stages of completion.

The city, expected to sit on a reclaimed 5 million square meters of land in Victoria Island, Lagos, will define Nigeria’s largest city skyline and will be a reference point for other such development in other African countries.

A series of pictures, mostly from Ventures Africa, show how far the mega city has developed.
