South Africa coach Ephraim Mashaba has named his squad to play friendlies against Swaziland and Nigeria, with Itumeleng Khune, Thulani Serero, Ayanda Patosi and Kamohelo Mokotjo back in the mix.

Khune returns to international contention after a lengthy spell out through injury, while Serero, Patosi and Mokotjo have been recalled after failing to make Mashaba’s 2015 Africa Cup of Nations squad.

Orlando Pirates striker Lehlohonolo Majoro has also been given another chance to impress, along with midfielder May Mahlangu.

However, Mahlangu’s readiness to compete is doubtful after he recently sustained an ankle complaint with new Turkish club Konyaspor.

Mashaba had handed maiden call-ups to Thapelo Morena, Cole Alexander, Daniel Cardoso, Lebogang Phiri, Thabo Mnyamane and Black Leopards striker Siphelele Ntshangase.
