Arsenal and Manchester City are monitoring the progress of Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah after Tottenham watched the player earlier this season.
City scouts are thought to have been present in Sardinia last night as Donsah played for his side in their 2-1 Serie A defeat by Inter Milan, while Spurs have asked to be kept informed of his progress.
The 18-year-old Ghanaian has shown himself to be one of the most promising players in Italy this season and has caught the eye of the Premier League trio.
But any move for Donsah is likely to be complicated by the need to secure a work permit for him.
