Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel could be out of action for approximately three weeks due to a knee injury.

And as a result of the ailment, the Nigeria international missed Chelsea’s home game against Everton in the Premier League on Wednesday night, and he is doubtful for subsequent fixtures against PSG and Burnley.

The Stamford Bridge outfit confirmed via their official webpage that the defensive midfielder would not be available for selection against Everton, thought the length of time he’ll spend on the sidelines was not revealed.
