AFKInsider catches up with Matsi Modise, national director of the South African Black Entrepreneurs Forum (SABEF) who talks about SME building, why the Black demographic needs the most help and how the organization provides avenues for growth. In part two of the interview, Modise elaborates on setting personal goals, sacrifices that entrepreneurs may want to consider as well as acting on a vision.

“It’s very important to have a vision. Everybody sees the energy in my eyes when I talk about what I do, because I’m passionate about it. Vision is what drives you towards something,” Modise said noting that her vision includes a transformed South Africa with more women entrepreneurs.  “It’s not sometimes clear when you start, but the big picture is what’s necessary.”
