An Ethiopian doctor and a technology CEO have joined forces to use technology to help optimize human and physical health resources in Africa.

Elias Schulze is the Africa CEO for Kaymu, an online marketplace that operates in 16 African countries and growing. Kaymu is a part of Africa Internet Group (AIG), a joint venture between Rocket Internet, MTN, and Tigo Millicom.

Yohans Wodaje founded HelloDoctor Telemed Medical Services. After graduating from the School of Medicine at Addis Ababa University, he moved to Kebridhar, a remote town in the Ogaden of the Somali Region in Ethiopia to work in a government hospital. There, Wodaje became passionately interested in using technology for public health.
