Namibia First In Line To Submit UN Climate Change Report

From The Citizen

Namibia is the first developing country to submit its biennial climate change mitigation report to the UN Framework Convention in Climate Change (UNFCCC), its ministry of environment and tourism announced on Monday.

“Namibia’s report further includes information on mitigation taken and it spells out financial, technological and capacity-building needs and support received,” Muyunda said.

Namibia’s report said the country absorbed not only all its own green house gas emissions, but those of other countries.
