Halloween — such a fun holiday to release your inner child and play dress up. But people aren’t the only ones who get crazed for costumes. Dogs are also into the holiday — or at least their humans are into dressing them up. And while some costumes are used over and over — who hasn’t seen a dachshund dressed as a hot dog? — others are totally creative, like the pups we’ve featured here. Enjoy these 10 creative Halloween costumes for dogs.
This dachshund is unlocking his inner Super Hero and looking incredibly cute in the process.
Who can resist a Boston terrier dressed as a walrus? This little guy’s name is Echo and his costume was submitted in a costume contest hosted by Southern Living.
This one has become pretty popular for it’s DIY ease. You just need a cone from the vet and then you can easily make the olives. Still it is pretty creative, so we’ve included it here.
We’re not sure how this pup feels about his costume, but regardless, it is unique.
Well duh, if you happen to be a boxer, this is the perfect costume. It works well on bully breeds in general, however.

Aww is it a dog? Or is it a mermaid? It’s a mer-dog and it’s hilarious. Although the pup doesn’t seem to think the same.
We’ve seen cow costumes on dogs before, but this one takes it to the next level. Wonder how long that balloon udder lasted?
I just love it when doxies dress up. And this one is super cute as a lizard.
And we end with this pup dressed as a spider. He looks very realistic, don’t you think?
