Pit bull lovers launched their own version of the ice bucket challenge recently with the #kissedbyapit campaign, which asks people to post photos to social media or themselves being kissed by a bully breed and then challenges them to donate to the animal rescue organization of their choice. This author will disclose she works directly with Denver based OutPaws Rescue, which pulls dogs and cats from high kill shelters across the country and in the Bahamas and finds them forever families — and her organization has a number of worthy bullies looking for forever homes.
