Rev. Nicholas Richards, President and co-founder of The Abyssinian Fund stopped by our studio for an exclusive interview which stretches the start and mission of the organization. In part two of the interview he elaborate’s on New York’s Abyssinian Baptist Church, training and involvement in  the country’s Chaffee Jenette coffee growing community.

“One of the great benefits that we’ve had working with Abyssinian Fund is the amount of female farmers we’ve trained. Twenty-five percent of the farmers we’ve trained — almost 300 women — are head of households,” Richards said.
