Getting Dressed

Princeton, one of the top competitive Ivy League universities in the United States, offers a class to its freshman class called “Getting Dressed.” Princeton’s weekly bulletin says the class is meant to make students consider the “social significance of clothing.” Students are asked to keep a journal and record their observations about how clothing plays a role in the world around them.
