The Beidou navigation system, used in China has made its way to Africa thanks to a youth exchange program connected to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. Wei Jingwei, a student at Qinghua University, helped introduce a new satellite system that helps people find wildlife and routes, CCTV Africa reported.

“You can see the navigation shown on the cell phone and its very precise. However, the route shown on the phone is not accurate. And even, there’s a great difference with the actual route,” Jingwei said.
