D.C. Roads Closed For The US-Africa Leaders Summit

Motorists in D.C. in United State of America should expect massive traffic jams in the city as roads get closed before the first ever US-Africa Leaders Summit starts and run for the next two days, ABC TV reported.

40 African leaders are in DC from Sunday for a three-day summit, which is being seen as an attempt by Washington to counter the growing influence of China on the African continent, which will be the largest gathering of African leaders in the U.S.

D.C. motorists have been asked to brace for road closures from Aug. 4-7 as these leaders come to town for the 2014 U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit. Officials said those traveling in the area should expect road closures, detours and parking restrictions.
