Botswana Has Poor Work Ethic, SADC Report

Botswana has been rated as one of the worst countries to do business in the Southern African Development (SADC) region in terms of work ethic, according to a survey published Friday.The survey by the Botswana National Productivity Centre (BNPC) showed that government red tape was one of the main factors hindering ease of doing business in the country during the past eight years.
“This has led to investors questioning whether Botswana is really a destination of choice and if it will carry a sustainable economic growth,” BNPC official Teedzani Majaule said.
He said the study compared Botswana with other countries in the SADC region.
