Brussels Airlines Adds Flights to Africa, Links To U.S.

Brussels Airlines, which offers flights to 19 African destinations, will expand its flight frequency this summer, adding more weekly flights to several existing destinations.

Existing African destinations include Dakar, Senegal; Freetown, Sierra Leone; Yaounde, Cameroon; Cotonou, Benin; Freetown, Sierra Leone; and Conakry, Guinea.

With the launch this spring of a new service to Washington, D.C., Brussels Airlines will also link its Africa network with the U.S. capital.

Along with the announcement that it would increase air service to Africa, the airline also joined the Africa Travel Association, a travel industry trade association promoting tourism to Africa, as a corporate member.
