In the second part of AFKInsider‘s exclusive look into South Africa’s Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship, restaurateur and former Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship student Miles Kubheka tells us about the upstart of his business Vuyo’s. After launching his enterprise, Kubheka sharpened his management skills at the center and returned to lead his restaurant to success.
“The funny part is, I don’t come from a food background. I was basically running a software company up until I say the TV ad,” Kubheka said in reference to the inspiration for his restaurant. “I quickly realized that I had some shortcomings in terms of managing a business that was very people intensive. So I checked out the Branson Centre.”
