President Michael Sata has urged the business community, investors, exhibitors and show goers to continue working together towards efforts that will create jobs, wealth and ultimately reduce poverty levels for majority Zambians.

In a statement to show goers and exhibitors at the on-going International Trade Fair in Ndola, President Sata appealed to both local and international foreign exhibitors to take full advantage of the Fair to cultivate fruitful and profitable partnerships and showcase the business transformation and development that Zambia had accomplished.

“I urge you all, the business community, investors, exhibitors and show goers to continue working together towards efforts that will create jobs, wealth and ultimately reduce poverty levels of the majority Zambian people,” he stated.

President Sata reaffirmed his government’s commitment to continue providing prudent economic policies that facilitate a competitive investment climate with a view to making Zambia a business hub for the region.

“This is our commitment to business transformation and development, as a golden jubilee year and as a token of our appreciation for our rich history of this prestigious event…let us celebrate the vital role the Zambia International Trade Fair has played in the transformation and development of our country, our support to the trade fair will remain strong and it is my ernest hope that we will see more business houses using trade fair as their platform for reaching out Zambians and the international community ,”he stated.
