From South African Broadcasting Corporation

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and Television Mozambique, TVM, have signed a memorandum of understanding that will see the two broadcasters working together.

The organisations have agreed to share content and resources. The SABC has assisted TVM in the past decade with election broadcasts and more recently the All Africa Games.

SABC acting Chief Executive Officer Tian Olivier says the agreement is currently being formalised.

“We have explored ways where we could assist each other with the broadcast of elections, training our staff and management. We are assisting each other with the transition to digital television broadcasting which is happening for all the countries and also the exchange of production of content and mutual interest.”
