Cabo Verde is readying for a new stream of tourists. According to the on-line version of British newspaper Daily Mail, Cape Verde is in 10th place on a list of 50 emerging countries that will have the highest demand among tourists in the next 10 years. The African archipelago comes immediately after Thailand and just before India on the ranking.
According to the newspaper, Cape Verde is referred to as the “African Caribbean,” mainly due to its beautiful beaches and its verdant mountains.
“These characteristics make the archipelago a tourist destination of increasing popularity. What’s more, says the newspaper, the country’s political and economic stability is another factor that helps increase Cape Verde’s popularity,” reports Asemana.
