South African Man Proposes With Help Of Entire Jet

A South African man recruited fellow passengers on a United Airlines flight Tuesday to help him propose to his girlfriend, 41ActionNews reports.

George Erasmus spent a year planning the proposal to his Missouri girlfriend, Ashley Kracht. Other passengers on his flight from South Africa were in on it.

As passengers exited flight 3774 at Kansas City International Airport, they each handed a daisy to Ashley, who was waiting in arriving flights. George was the last passenger to exit the plane.

He got down on one knee and popped the question to Ashley, who had an armful of daisies. George also wrote a song which United Airlines played over the PA.

The couple met in Cape Town when Ashley was serving as a missionary there. Seeing how
much she cared for the children she worked with touched his heart, he told 41ActionNews.

The couple met three years ago, according to KSDK.com.
