10 Actors You Didn’t Know Had Accents

4 of 11

What makes a gorgeous actor from your favorite TV show even more gorgeous? A foreign accent. We’d like to thank the academy for giving these actors visas! It can’t be easy to completely change the way you sound when you speak. The “True Blood” cast is full of multinational actors. Before filming, some say they avoid speaking to friends and family from home so they don’t accidentally start speaking in their native accent again. Others visit different parts of the U.S. to study different dialects for roles that require them to speak in accents other than their own. Sometimes they’re so good at what they do in front of the camera, you don’t even know they have accents in real life. Here are 10 actors you didn’t know had accents.
