Zambian Entrepreneur Creates i-School To Standardize Curriculum

Mark Bennet, a Zambian entrepreneur, has developed i-School Zambia, a hand-held learning pad that digitizes and standardizes curriculum for students in the country.

The e-learning tool for students and teachers has been approved by the Zambian board of education and is changing the way students learn, according to a CCTV Africa report.

Bennet said he started i-School as an experiment to see if the technology could be introduced in rural areas. It worked. It’s a highly interactive style of learning and teachers rave about it, the report said. It’s also providing investment opportunities in Africa, CCTV reports.
