Son Of Ghanaians Accepted To All Eight Ivy League Schools

Kwasi Enin, a high school senior and the son of Ghanaian immigrants, has been accepted to all eight Ivy League universities.

Getting into any Ivy League school is a huge accomplishment. Being accepted by all of them is rare, according to a report in CBS Evening News. Kwasi now faces his biggest challenge: deciding which school to attend.

When Kwasi, 17, saw the acceptance letters, “I wasn’t thinking full flush,” he said. “I was looking through the list and I was like, there’s no way. Someone has to say no. It just doesn’t happen.”

But all eight Ivy League schools said yes to Kwasi: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania and Yale.

Kwasi, a resident of Shirley, N.Y., scored 2250 out of 2400 on the SATs.

The son of immigrants from Ghana, Kwasi told  CBS Evening News it was his parents who
inspired him.
