Ghana Says It’s Seeking Investors To Build Gold Refinery

According to Ghana’s minister of lands and natural resources, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, the country needs investors to boost it’s gold mining sector. And he says,  Ghana is ready to partner with any investor who will assist the country to build a refinery.

“It is unfortunate that a country that was branded as Gold Coast by our colonial masters has not been able to brand Ghana’s gold,” he said when Jeeva Sagar, Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, called on him to discuss how the two countries could strengthen their bilateral relationship, reports Citi FM.

Sagar expressed his country’s commitment and support to the human resource development of Ghana.

“As we put value on education, India will continue to support Ghana in capacity building,” he said.
