Increased investment in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is inevitable for enhanced efficiency and productivity in the national economy.

According to IBM Africa Country General Manager David Sawe, “There is huge demand for ICT in organisations that aim at improving efficiencies and boosting profit.”

Giving a keynote address to the opening of a three-day training for over 150 ICT experts from various sectors in Dar es Salaam, Mr Sawe said the introduction of ICT courses at various levels in the colleges and other higher learning institutions was helping to equip the graduates with an important knowledge as a problem solving tool.
