Syrians Carrying Fake Passports Detained At Cape Verde Airport

From Asemena

Five men of Syrian nationality, who were attempting to pass through Cape Verde using false passports after arriving on a flight from Senegalese capital Dakar, are currently being held at Nelson Mandela International Airport in Praia, and will be returned to Dakar Saturday morning.

The five men, some of whom belong to the same family, were apparently trying to use Cape Verde as a stopover on their way to the Spanish autonomous region of the Canary Islands on Thursday, but were barred from entry by Cape Verdean border authorities at Nelson Mandela International Airport in Praia.
