Cape Verde’s National Carrier Congratulated By Netherlands’ Largest Airport For 25 Years Of Operations

Schiphol Airport, the largest airport infrastructure in the Netherlands, located near Amsterdam, has congratulated TACV Cabo Verde Airlines for 25 years of operations without any incidents. The honor was simple and transmitted in the form of a postcard, but was nevertheless appreciated by TACV workers and administration alike.

The recognition of TACV’s 25 years of incident-free operations was made by the airport’s marketing director, Wilco Sweijen. The acknowledgement could not have come at a better time. “We’ve achieved an important landmark,” says one TACV professional, at a time in which, according to another, Cape Verde’s flagship airline is seeking to reposition itself in the Dutch market. “This is a breath of fresh air,” he says.
