 Rwanda and the Netherlands have concluded an agreement for mutual support while combating illegal migration between the two countries, RNA has established.

The agreement was signed between Rwanda’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Louise Mushikiwabo and State Secretary of security and justice and Minister for Migration of the Netherlands, Fred Teevens.

The Netherland Minister who is on a three-day official visit in the country also met with the Minister of Justice and Attorney General Busingye Johnston.

Minister Teevens said that the Netherlands government appreciates the cooperation with Rwanda and vows to do more especially in migration field, “we did a lot together in justice field and I think we can also do more in migration field”.

He said that his government will not hesitate to co-operate with Rwanda in extraditing Genocide suspects on its soil.
