Cape Verde Borrows From African Development Bank To Finance Technology Park

The government of Cape Verde has taken out a new loan from the African Development Bank (ADB) totaling 31,590,000 Euros, for the implementation of the country’s Technology Park. The loan is to be paid pack in 30 installments to be made every six months over the next fifteen years, with a grace period of five years.

Decree nº 8 from December 27, published Official State Bulletin nº 71, specifies that the Technology Park will contribute to the country’s sustainable development by supporting the information and communication technology industry.

The project proposes to increase the economic competitiveness of the Cape Verdean business fabric and attract innovative and enterprising businesses to develop their initiatives here.
