ANIP Signs Private Investment Contracts Worth $70 Million in Angola

The National Agency of Private Investment (ANIP) signed on Tuesday in Luanda with Angolan and foreign companies, 11 contracts for investments estimated at Akz 7.2 billion (Usd 70 million).

The contracts were signed by ANIP’s CEO, Maria Luísa Abrantes, and representatives of the companies involved. Most of the contracts have to do with services, civil construction and industry sector.

However, ANIP’s CEO, Maria Luísa Abrantes, considered the signing of the contracts shows that Angola is still an attractive country for private foreign and nationals investors.

Maria Abrantes said that local and foreign investments in the country are important, as they contribute to reduce unemployment and diversify the Angolan economy.
