Dancing in the streets to celebrate the outcome of the 2020 election has turned to protests and singing of the FDT song. Nationwide, Trump supporters are demanding an end to the vote counting and Biden supporters are demonstrating against Trump trying to overturn the election. Some are calling for a total revamp of the system.

In Atlanta, for example, about 50 Trump supporters recently gathered outside the city’s State Farm Arena, where ballots are being counted. They waved signs that read “Stop the Count” and “Four More Years.” An opposing group drove by in cars blasting the YG and Nipsey Hussle protest song, “FDT,” which is short for “F**k Donald Trump.”

Another group waved Black Lives Matter signs. In Detroit, some people are calling out both parties, chanting “FBT: F Biden Too.”

“In Detroit, protests continue against police brutality.“FUCK DONALD TRUMP, FUCK BIDEN TOO, BOTH OF THEM DON’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU!” NatTurnUp II tweeted.

Beginning on Election Day, the Trump campaign started filing a wave of legal action in pivotal states including Pennsylvania, Nevada and Michigan, turning to the courts in an effort to stop vote-counting.

Many of the demonstrations have been prompted by conspiracy theories that centered on unfounded fears of fraud, including suggestions that Democrats are creating forged ballots for Biden, the Washington Post reported. The rumors spread like wildfire among right-wing social media users, fueled in part by unfounded allegations from President Trump.

“I think it’s a situation where things might get rough real soon,” said Chris Arnold, a Black 40-year-old private investigator in Philadelphia who was among the protesters.

Arnold said he fears a civil war is coming. “I’ve been saying a long time I think a civil war between Democrats and Republicans is coming, because we still have this racist monster here in our faces. They’re not willing to conform, and we’re tired of it.”

Protests have grown so much in Portland that the National Guard has been activated.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo promised at a Tuesday press conference, “There will be a smooth transition to a second Trump administration.”

Trump purged Pentagon Cabinet members this week, replacing them with MAGA loyalists.

“The @GOP coup d’etat is happening in real time. When we hit the streets to protest his failure to concede and leave office, he will have the military on the streets of America to put us down,” Joe Scutella tweeted.

Arrests related to protests were made in Minneapolis and in New York City where the New York Police Department confiscated weapons.

More protests are on the way, many of them organized by Biden supporters. In fact, 100-plus events were planned throughout the U.S. between Nov. 11 and Nov. 14, organized by local partners of Protect the Results, a coalition of 165+ grassroots organizations, advocacy groups, and labor unions, USA Today reported.
