Morocco’s economy grew 4.5 percent in the third quarter of 2013 from a year earlier, easing back compared to the first half of this year due to a slowdown in the non-agricultural sector, the state planning agency.
Growth was 4.8 pct in the first quarter of 2013 and 5.1 percent in the second quarter.
Growth of non-agricultural sectors slowed to 2.4 percent in the third quarter from a year earlier, while agricultural output rose 18.9 percent as the national grain harvest recovered from drought to head for a record 9.7 million tonnes this year.
