Canada’s Quest Water Inks Deal With Angola’s Nurcil Trading

From DBR

Quest Water Global, a Canadian water technology firm, has signed a memorandum of understanding with an Angolan firm Nurcil Trading – Comércio e Indústria (NTCI) to be its partner in Angola.

Quest Water develops AQUAtap Community Drinking Water Station and WEPS Water Extraction and Purification System.

As per the agreed terms, NTCI will own 20 percent stake in Quest Water’s Angolan subsidiary, Aquatap Industrial.

NTCI will begin marketing, selling, and distributing Quest Water’s AQUAtap products across the country with immediate effect, Quest Water said.

Quest Water is constructing a fabrication and assembly facility in Angola. The initial sales of AQUAtap, however, will be manufactured in Mexico.

Quest Water Global CEO and president John Balanko said that securing a strong Angolan partner is a critical milestone leading up to the construction and opening of the AQUAtap assembly facility in Angola, and sales of AQUAtap systems through Angola’s Water For All program.
