Lufthansa To Partner With Nigeria

Lufthansa Airline is looking to partner with Nigerian as it aims to increase air coverage of the country, says Christoph Franz, the CEO of the German-based airline.

“Franz, whose airline has a partnership agreement with Egypt, South African and Ethiopian airlines acknowledged that the airline flies to Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, but regretted that the airline does not have a local partner in Nigeria,” reports Business Day Live.

“There is need for a viable airline in Nigeria for Lufthansa to partner with,” Franz said at an interactive session with journalists from different parts of the world at Lufthansa Aviation academy recently in Frankfurt, Germany.

Franz however said the airline is open to discussions so long as the local airlines meet some specifications.
