South Africa Ranks No. 1, Best African Airline And Business School

South Africa ranked No. 1 in Africa for best business school and best airline in two separate global awards.

The University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business was named No. 1 in Africa at the sixth Eduniversal World Convention of the Best Business Schools, held Oct. 9-12 in Bangalore, India, according to BizCommunity.

South African Airways was named Best African Airline at the Business Traveller Awards 2013 at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington. This is the second year in a row South African Airways has won the award. It was recognized as Most On-Time Airline in the World three times this year by Flight Stats International, according to IncentiveTravel.

Other high-ranking business schools in Africa inlcuded The American University in Cairo’s School of Business (No. 2) and the University of Stellenbosch Business School, which ranked third in Africa.

The national airline for South Africa beat out competition for the award from Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines and Comair (British Airways).

South African Airways offers direct double daily flights between London Heathrow and Johannesburg and serves more than 30 destinations in Africa on a fleet of Airbus A330 and A340s.
