Prime Minister José Maria Neves will speak at 11:00 am Saturday, September 28, at the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which is currently under way in New York. The “Post-2015 Development Agenda” is the theme of this session, in which a number of high-level events will take place and an agenda to respond to various global crises will be outlined.

Prior to Neves’ arrival in New York, a Cape Verdean delegation headed by Minister of Foreign Relations Jorge Borges has traveled to the UN headquarters, where it will participate in plenary sessions and parallel events, as well as hold a large number of bilateral meetings with peers from throughout the world in an effort to enhance cooperation.
