Table Mountain – Considered one of the most epic sights in Africa, the flat-topped rocky mountain that overlooks Cape Town, otherwise known as Table Mountain, is the subject of countless tourist photos.

Garden Route – The town of Knysna on South Africa’s Garden Route attracts visitors for its limestone cliffs, popularly known as “The Heads” that have become infamous due to the loss of boats and fishermen passing through their unpredictable waters. Knysna is also home to Africa’s largest indigenous forest and a steam engine ride.

Victoria Falls – Along Southern Africa’s Zambia and Zimbabwe border, the Zambezi River makes a sudden plunge in a stunning waterfall known as Victoria Falls.

Cape Town – South Africa’s most popular tourist destination and its second-most populated city, Cape Town offers great beaches, locally produced wine and wildlife adventures such as viewing a great white shark underwater from inside a cage.

Sun City – Sun City in South Africa boasts luxurious casinos and restaurants said to be similar to Las Vegas, but with an African flavor. Visitors can also see wildlife nearby at the Pilanesberg Games Reserve.

Kruger National Park– The Big 5 was once a reference to the most dangerous animals to hunt in South Africa. Now it represents the most popular ones you can view while on a safari through Kruger National Park.

Plettenberg Bay – South Africa’s Plettenberg Bay has beaches, white sands, caves and places to see wildlife like Monkeyland and the Birds of Eden.

Johannesburg  All of the aspects of visiting a large city are found in Johannesburg, such as five star restaurants and shopping. However, it also has wildlife viewing, caves and nature reserves.

The Winelands – Officially known as the Cape Winelands, this area is home to South Africa’s food and wine route with galleries, antique shops, and the village of Franschhoek.
