It seems like Roc Nation might just get another client. According to ESPN, Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving is looking to change agents and word is he will partner with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports.

Irving’s already parted ways with longtime agent Jeff Wechsler and he will most likely sign with Roc Nation prior to NBA free agency on June 30, sources told ESPN.

“Irving, a six-time All-Star, will become an unrestricted free agent, and league sources say he remains intensely interested in the Brooklyn Nets. The New York Knicks are expected to remain competitive for Irving, too,” ESPN reported.

League sources said the Knicks and Nets are both interested in signing Irving.

Irving had been represented by Wechsler since Irving was the No. 1 overall pick out of Duke in 2011. Wechsler negotiated a number of national marketing campaigns and helped to launch his Uncle Drew soft-drink commercial and movie character. Wechsler, who also reps Celtics star Jayson Tatum, assisted Irving in negotiating his exit of Cleveland and into a trade to the Celtics in 2017.

Wechsler previously represented Alonzo Mourning and Penny Hardaway.

Currently, Roc Nation represents such top NBA players as Nets guard Caris LeVert. Jay Z founded Roc Nation in 2013 in partnership with Creative Artists Agency.
