Who is Frank Garry? Well, he’s the entrepreneur behind the highly popular YouTube channel Saneter Studios. His videos have more than 19 million views.

On average, the Saneter YouTube channel can receive $18 per 1,000 ad views. That’s $3-to-$5 per 1000 video views, according to Influencer Marketing.

Garry’s “BlackNews102” has been recognized as one of the leading YouTube sites for educational and current events.

BlackNews102 started out making available educational programs and debates concerning the history and current issues of the Black community. It has recently expanded its programming to include innovative news reporting affecting “our community, elections critical to our people, sports events, celebrity news, business, science, and technology news,” according to the company’s website.

Listen to GHOGH with Jamarlin Martin | Episode 11: Travis Holoway Jamarlin talks to Travis Holoway, founder and CEO of SoLo Funds, a startup focused on peer-to-peer lending. They discuss Mark Zuckerberg as a liberal tech version of Donald Trump, Jake Tapper’s double standards on CNN towards Black leaders, and whether Silicon Valley has “negro helpers” who set the community back.

BlackNews102 often has a range of experts from professors and politicians to business experts. Shows are often centered on community and economic empowerment.

While the channel does generate revenue, sometimes the controversial subject matter scares off advertisers, according to Garry. On his website, he wrote, “We believe empowerment begins with the right programming to its audience. Content producers like myself have been recently censored by advertisers who do not like our critique or our programming. They withdraw their ad dollars if we comment on racial politics that affect our community. Many of our programs that simply critiqued the system for institutional racism have been demonetized.”

Recently Garry started a subscription drive. The channel will cost users $2 a month.

Garry hasn’t always been on YouTube. He started publishing on videotapes, then DVD media, then YouTube and then live streams.

Garry also started the Sa Neter TV Awards to recognize people who have made a notable impact in a variety of areas including community activism and cultural and historic education.

Moguldom Nation reached out to Garry for a one-on-one interview, but had not received a response by press time.
