Stacey Abrams, the rising Democratic political star from Georgia, is listed as a participant at the secretive Bilderberg Meeting, underway in Switzerland.

The meeting is a lightning rod for conspiracy theorists. Some, who have publicly supported Trump, have picketed the annual event in recent years, viewing them “as nefarious gatherings of the global elite,” according to the Washington Post.

This year, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo plans to attend, the State Department reported. Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former CIA director David Petraeus are invited. Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner is also invited, along with 130 influential men and women from 23 countries. They’ll meet under strict secrecy rules and the precise location has not been revealed, according to The Daily Mail.

Radio host Alex Jones has claimed that Google “planned and launched” the Arab Spring at a Bilderberg meeting.

People who have attended say the meeting is just a forum for honest and open debate. The three-day event is designed to foster dialogue between Europe and North America, according to the Bilderberg website. It was launched in 1954 in the post-World War II period out of the concern that Western Europe and North America were not working together as closely as they should on issues of common interest.

“The controlling and sinister reputation of the #Bilderberg meeting seems to deflate for me when you read the participant list, and Stacy Abrams is the first name you see,” wrote one Twitter user.

These are the topics that will be discussed, according to the Daily Mail.
