CNN political analyst and White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks April Ryan is known not to hold any punches when questioning President Trump and anyone else in the White House. And she has received some harsh criticism for it, including Trump personally targeting her. Trump’s MAGA followers have also made Ryan wary.
Now Ryan is alerting her friends and family — and her Twitter followers — that is anything happens to her, it will most likely be because of the White House.

She recently tweeted: “As I thank God this day and for his sacrifice as you should be doing, I have a warning for you! If anything happens to me or mine or anyone connected to me, you and your daughter and this administration will be held accountable! So you better stop now!”
Since 1997, Ryan has served as a White House correspondent. But now Ryan says she feels threatened by the atmosphere at the White House and by Trump’s rhetoric.
She said an interview with The Washington Post that the White House “wants her to drown” and is “threatened” by her.
Ryan asked: “Why are they so upset, why are they trying to hold me down? It’s just crazy…They’re scared of what I say, apparently, because I speak the truth.”
“They’re so worried about me at CNN. It’s like they’re threatened by me, it’s ridiculous; they want me to grovel, they want me to not have anything; they want my children to lack,” she continued. “Why are they so worried about me and my CNN contract?”
She concluded: “They want me to drown.”
